On behalf of the Federal Government and the European Union, GIZ supports the people of Sudan in improving their living conditions.
As a transit, destination and country of origin for refugees and migrants, Sudan has received increasing attention from the international community in recent years. After the population of Sudan was able to overthrow Omar Al-Bashir's 30-year military dictatorship in April 2019 through months of peaceful protests, a transitional civil-military government was established in September 2019. It is intended to pave the way for the first free and democratic elections and to initiate economic, political and social reforms. ,
Your tasks
• Unterstützung im allgemeinen Tagesgeschäft, bei Vorbereitung von Sitzungen und Workshops des Büros im Bereich Gender und Menschenrechte
• Unterstützung beim Berichtswesen an die Auftraggeber
• Mitwirkung bei der Aufarbeitung von Projekterfahrungen
• Begleitung im Prozess des Indikatorenmonitorings
• Unterstützung bei Fachrecherchen, Erstellung kurzer Texte für Kommunikation und Unterstützung Wissensmanagement
• Unterstützung bei der inhaltlichen Entwicklung von Projektskizzen und der Angebotserstellung
• Mithilfe bei innovativen Entwicklungsprozessen wie dem Ausbau von (digitalen) Tool im GIZ Büro
• Participation in meetings of the management team and the working groups and preparation / coordination of the results protocols
your profile
- You are interested in working in varied processes and can quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
- You have a bachelor's degree in communication, political science or administrative science or a comparable subject and have already gained some internship or study experience abroad.
- You are familiar with the institutions and basic concepts of international cooperation and have had initial experience with them; Knowledge of gender in project management is relevant and desirable
- You have very good knowledge of German and English; Basic knowledge of Arbaic is an advantage.
- You can write texts in a target group-oriented manner, especially in German, write expressively, error-free and understandably
- We also expect a high level of intercultural sensitivity, development policy understanding, cooperation and team skills, willingness to learn and take responsibility, as well as flexibility and willingness to work independently.
Hints
The monthly internship remuneration is € 1,608 (gross). Depending on the country of assignment, an additional monthly foreign allowance (gross), in an amount determined by GIZ, is added to the internship remuneration.
