Background:

Job Purpose:

To carry out all the activities related to inventory management. Also order, receive invoices and shipping documents from suppliers to ensure accurate stocking and optimum levels of inventory is maintained therefor control the Master Planning process.

 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management 
    Update inventory costing & prices, Machinery, Parts & Inputs allocation & reservations in System in time to ensure that the process of invoicing is completed swiftly.
  • Equipment allocation & Delivery
    Arrange for Machinery, Parts & Inputs allocation, prioritization, delivery order and customer invoice timely to maintain optimal delivery time applying FIFO model  to prevent equipment aging.
  • Stock-taking
    Participate actively in the physical stock taking for auditing purposes to ensure minimal discrepancies.
  • Equipment movement
    Ensure stock movement in coordination with logistics to achieve right equipment at the right location at the right time.
  • Inventory Control
    Maintain accurate order points (Max & Min) and define the Add/Remove from stock procedure to ensure availability of the equipment.
  • Orders placement
    Ensure effective and timely communication with suppliers regarding technical aspects, pricing, expected delivery dates, and shipments of the orders (Stock, Emergency & Warranty) to ensure precision of ordering equipment and optimizing the lead time and cost.
  • Orders Follow-up 
    Receive order acknowledgement and track shipping status, receipt of documents, auditing the documents against orders, advising the logistics officer to undertake customs clearance to ensure accuracy along the supply chain.
  • Orders Reports
    Prepare stock-ON-hand or In-pipe reports to compare the company inventories levels VS sales forecast  in order to set future orders as well as keeping the concerned departments informed.
  • Inventory Planning
    Determine, review and order protective stocks. Ensure that standardized Inventory Replenishment planning procedure is carried out across all branches and warehouses in accordance with planning procedures and methods to ensure consistency and standardization of expected practices.
  • Inventory Cost & Pricing
    Report inventory value and update inventory prices in the system in time to ensure that the process of invoicing or quoting is completed swiftly.

 

  • Other Accountabilities:

Other Inventory activities.
Any assigned task by the direct supervisor or Manager.

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Business Management/ Finance/Agricultural Science /Engineering.
  • Professional Certification in Supply Chain / Inventory (Desirable).

Experience:

  • 3-5 years work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/ Finance.
  • 1 years work experience in Agricultural environment (Desirable).
