 Background:

Job Purpose:

To handle logistics activities of spare parts to ensure smooth delivery for the spare parts and shipping documents to the final destination or to the end user.

 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Documents Examination 
    Receive the complete shipping set of documents from the logistics supervisor, order controller or supplier and make sure all documents are complete and in line with customs authority policies and regulations.
  • Coordination with DAL Clearance
    Coordinate with DAL clearance to perform the inbound formalities for the consignments, and follow up with DAL Clearance until the receipt of spare parts to ensure that all consignments are delivered on time.
  • Consignments Progress
    Share progress of consignments movement and clearance with concerned parties in order to enable stakeholders to track their shipments and keep the end users updated.
  • Non-customs Bureaucracies
    Execute the non-customs bureaucracies related to, IM forms from the bank and transportation process to ensure that there's no hindrance that would affect lead time adversely.
  • Performance Improvements
    Undertakes suppliers/forwarders/shipping agent’s delivery performance measures, and communicate for improvements to logistics supervisor.
  • Landed Cost Optimizing
    Prepare the Landed Cost for each franchise in regular basis. And communicate with concerned parties to eliminate lead-time and cost wastes, to ensure continuous cost-effectivity.
  • Inland Insurance
    Request and follow up parts inland insurance when needed, in order to safeguard the interest of the company from loss and uncertainty.

 

  • Other Accountabilities:

           Any additional tasks requested by the Parts Manager.

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.
  • Supply chain management certification (Desirable).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 Years experience in related field.

Skills:

  • Communication skills.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to details.
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
  • Follow up skills.
  • Team work spirit.
  • Time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt (Desirable).
