 Background:

The medical doctor is overall responsible for providing technical support to Nyala Stabilization Centre at Nyala hospital, He/she will be responsible of quality implementation of inpatient care for children under 5 years, including support consultations of patients, and provide management and supervision of SC personal in coordination with stat ministry of health -nutrition department, and the medical director of Nyala Hospital.

 Duties and responsibilities:

= Technical Management of  Primary & Reproductive Health Care  30% of the Time.

= Monitoring , Documentation and Reporting  30% of the Time.

= Knowledge Sharing  and Learning 15 % of the Time.

= Maintaining professional  relation with SMoH, INGOs, LNGOs and other Stock Hold        ers working I Health 10 % of the Time.

= Staff Management and Supervision 10 % of the Time.

= Upholding CARE Values and Contribute to CIS shared Priorities 5%  of Time

= Any other Assignment 

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

= Recognized medical doctor University/degree (MBBS), medical council registration 

= Minimum 5 Years Experience in Nutrition Inpatient CARE in Situations of Humanitarian Settings .  

    Core competencies :

= Good  Spoken and Written English

= Ability to function in uncertain Safety Situations

= Outgoing personality with effective communication Skills

= Ability to travel  outside Nyala 

= Good Report Writing. 

= Fluent in Arabic and English
