The Kaizen Company is searching for a Monitoring Services Director (Component 1 Lead) for the anticipated South Sudan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Activity. The South Sudan MEL Activity will provide USAID/South Sudan with flexible, demand-driven, technical services to augment the Missions ability to achieve strong performance management of its portfolio through effective monitoring and evaluation. MELS will also serve as a tool to provide the Missions Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping capability to inform decision-making; enhance collaborative learning and adaptation across the Mission; and provide general support for Mission planning, third party monitoring, evaluation, reporting, research, assessments, and special studies. This position is based in South Sudan.
Responsibilities
The Monitoring Services Director (Component 1 Lead) will oversee the implementation of monitoring services activities to include but not limited to participatory monitoring, context monitoring, and third-party monitoring. S/he will oversee primary data collection and research activities (surveys, baseline data and target setting, etc), support indicator development, and resilience measurement.
