 Background:

Job Purpose:

To oversee and ensure all processes are in place to drive forecast accuracy while participating with cross-functional team meetings ( S&OP), compering the company inventories levels whether ON-hand or In-pipe VS sales forecast to liaise on with respective managers to plan for units needed and to participate in estimating future product demand.

 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Sales & Operations Planning
    Review sales plans and compare it with stock-on-hand to set the final sales plans on monthly bases in order to ensure proper ordering and reach sales targets.
  • Inventory Management
    Setup and establish accurate Order Points (Max & Min) and Define the Add/Remove from Stock Procedure to ensure availability of the parts and to achieve the targeted inventory turnover.
  • Order Management
    Oversee orders plans and make sure that the orders are placed timely & properly to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Invoicing 
    Review and approve invoicing to ensure compliance with contract and authorities.
  • Suppliers Management
    Manage & keep records for all suppliers, audit and confirm that suppliers invoices are invoiced timely and properly to ensure proper posting to financial books.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    Devise supplier’s selection processes and criterion, suppliers’ segmentation process, agreements management and supplier performance management system.
  • Supply Chain Processes Analysis
    Track and monitor the performance of supply chain functions (Sourcing & Purchases, Sales, etc.…) ensuring all requests are handled within targeted lead times. And disseminate and communicate Standard operating procedures [SOP’s] and policies and report any deviation from, or violation to these SOP’s or policies.
  • Team Supervision
    Provide effective people management in resourcing and recruitment, performance management, staff development and coaching of direct reports for overall effectiveness and optimal performance.
  • Other Accountabilities 
    Logistics and Warehousing activities.
    Any assigned task by the direct manager or GM.
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:

  • University degree BSc , BA or any related field
  • Professional Certification in  Supply Chain (Desirable)
  • MSc , MBA degree (Desirable)

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years work experience in Supply chain or logistics
