Background:
- Take part in the definition of the production and maintenance targets he/ she responsible of (cost, time, quality, quantity) to fulfill Mena Dates Vision and Mission
- Manage the production and maintenance by ensuring that all the necessary key elements (human, raw materials, preventive maintenance, and facility maintenance) are met to Mena Dates assigned standard.
- Manage a human resource planning to achieve given KPIs and strategic milestones of Mena dates.
- Work closely with the circle of trustees in the PMO and R&D offices to fulfil and achieve both; long and short terms objectives and plans

Duties and responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing the production and maintenance plan (annual, quarter, monthly, weekly, and daily).
- Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met as per the ISO 45001 standards and codes.
- Managing the quality management systems standards incorporated in Mena Dates (ISO 22000/ FSSC 22000/ ISO 9001/ ISO 14001) alongside managing PRPs and HACCP codes.
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials as required based on available targets and plans
- Supervising the work of subordinate staff and make continuous evaluation for the staff to ensure excellency
- Organizing and developing relevant training sessions bas on the gap analysis conducted to their subordinates
- Developing an optimum succession plan for key staff
- Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes
- Monitor the workflow of the department by creating necessary tools to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Conduct forecast to identify potential risks and contingencies in the department and make sure its discussed, reported and elevated to top management.
- Prepare periodic reports to update upper management on department status
- Create and develop work order to ensure round-the-clock production and maintenance operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of raw materials and spare parts
- Attend seminars, conferences, and educational programs to update job knowledge.
- Ensure all government legislation are adhered
- Participates in department meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering field (preferably electrical, mechanical or mechanization)
Proven work experience as Production & Maintenance Manager 7+ Years
