Here’s where you come in:
As Project Finance Manager, your have good knowledge of grants and compliance management to provide financial oversight to the project. You must be a professional with a proven track record in managing projects and dealing with a diverse group of stakeholders and working with sub-grantees. You will demonstrate solid experiences in grant finance management including budget review, reporting and providing capacity building supports. You will be expected to provide effective team leadership to co-workers and to ensure effective accountability including reporting to the donor and World Vision. You are a key member of the Project management team and is tasked with leading and coordinating the finance and grants management as well as compliance efforts of the project.
Requirements include:
- A Graduate degree from a recognized university in Finance/Accounting, Commerce or related fields.
- Professional certification and membership of recognized Accounting body preferred.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Management in an international development work environment, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa, with major accomplishment in grants and compliance assignment.
- Certified Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and experience in project management.
- Effective in written and verbal communication in English, knowledge of basic Arabic is a plus.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.
