 Background:
Responsible for leading all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining QHSE and other operating standards across the organization. This position will work closely with our leaders and executive management teams in supporting SOP’s, documentation control and risk management. The role will also cover leading the organization through certification processes of local and international standards.

 

 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety/quality audits and inspections are maintained according to the local and international standards
  • Review and implement changes in standards in safety/quality when necessary and support the department through operational risk management and safe working environment.
  • Liaise with external or internal auditors/airlines/regulatory authorities and clients in arranging audit inspection visits
  • Ensure the organization document control procedure is implemented
  • Coordinate the management review meeting and follow up on corrective actions and report to the top management on the QHSE performance.
  • Maintain and monitor the risk management system and follow up on policy implementation.
  • Support voluntary reporting process including non-punitive hazard reporting program
  • Follow up on planned and random audit process and customer complaints and ensure proper corrective actions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by line manager
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of QHSE experience in a management role
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills and timely decision making
  • Leadership as well as team-building skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, oral and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of airport operations, Quality management and global aviation industry QHSE standards.
  • IRCA Lead Auditor or NEBOSH Certificate in OHS Licenses/ Certifications
