About the Position

We are looking for a business minded self-starter, keen to make a difference through enhancing business processes at Kraft Heinz. Kraft Heinz is an ever-changing and evolving business, which makes this a varied and dynamic role. If you are analytically minded, possess a strong ability to simplify with experience of business processes, you would be a perfect fit for this role.

This Risk Compliance Role reports into the ‘EMEA Finance Compliance & Risk Manager’ and dotted to ‘MEA Financial Controller’. This role is based in our Egypt office and works closely with the accounting, commercial and operational finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have financial process experience, gained through a role in external or internal audit. The primary focus is driving an effective and efficient internal controls environment that is agile, practical and representative of business processes. Factory &/or Inventory experience is a plus.

In brief, you will;

• Partner with Egypt business to ensure an effective and efficient controls environment
• Be an advocate for process change; identifying opportunities for best-practice improvement and work closely with teams to implement change
• Work with the business and specific teams to remediate areas of control weakness and mitigate control deficiencies
• Assist in identification of key risks, controls and insights within processes and documenting these in the Risk and Control Matrix
• Manage the controls testing program; provide support to control testers and owners to ensure that US SEC regulatory reporting deadlines are met
• Support the implementation of new or amended global policies at a local business unit level

Qualifications

Hard Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate qualification with an accounting focus
• At a minimum, 7/8 years’ experience related to internal business controls, financial processes, and/or process improvement; understanding of process and controls concepts, including risk identification and gap analysis
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; the ability to deliver a consistent message from analyst level to c-suit management
• Accounting program experience, including Oracle products, would be beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word & PowerPoint is essential
• Fluency in English is a requirement
