Background:
Background: The International Republican Institute (IRI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide. Since 1983, IRI has worked to develop democratic institutions and ideals, carrying out a variety of international programs to promote freedom, self- government and the rule of law worldwide. IRI provides technical assistance in the areas of political party strengthening, developing civic institutions and open elections, promoting democratic governance and advancing the rule of law. IRI will assist Sudanese CSO’s to implement robust citizen engagement, advocacy and dialogue initiatives as the government undergoes transitional reform processes, including supporting campaigns and activities tailored to reach diverse segments of Sudanese, specifically targeting youth, women, and other marginalized groups. To reinforce the responsibilities of citizens throughout the transitional process, IRI will also support Sudanese CSOs in their efforts to inform citizens on the role they can and should play in a participatory democracy. This solicitation calls on the expertise of trainers on several topics related to CSO development and their engagement in the political transition. IRI requests that trainers only apply to train on topics where they have extensive experience.
Period of Performance: Date of Signature – December 31, 2022 with an option to extend for three (3) years in one-year increments |

Duties and responsibilities:

Bidder must have relevant civil society experience and be able to teach on a minimum of one of the following topics, based upon the bidder’s own practical experience:
