 Background:

The warehouse Officer is responsible providing technical support to warehousing operations, ensures the safe reception, storage, distribution and reporting of movements within the warehouse. Works closely with the production and maintenance staff. He/she is involved in the planning of stock movements, Ensures standard warehousing documents (using ERP or conventional methods) are filled in correctly and handed over in a timely manner.
 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily operations meetings with relevant teams.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure warehouse rules and procedures are applied and published in the relevant operations SOPs.
  • Co-ordinate inbound, storage and outbound activities of shipments in a timely, safe and efficient manner while ensuring full accountability.
  • Perform inventory when required.
  • Issuing of gate passes and delivery notes per truck/activity
  • Preparation of goods receipt and dispatch notes
  • Receiving, Handling, storage, packaging and delivery of products.
  • Arranging for inspection for the warehouse when required.
  • Ensure that the raw materials, and finished products and packing materials are traceable during all stages of delivery.
  • Aware of FIFO (First In First Out)/FEFO (First Expired First Out) system.
  • Prepare periodic plan for stock movement and warehouse maintenance (including the cold stores and forklifts)
  • Constantly work to improve processes
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in management or supply chain

Skills :

  • Forklift Operation Certification
  • Problem solving skills
  • Communication skills
  • Team working skills

Experience :

2-3 Experience in warehouse or in similar roll
