If so, RA International is looking for a Welder, Minimum 5 years of relevant work experiences. Must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions.Must have knowledge to different kinds and types of metal and their properties that is essential to carry out general welding works as required by the company. Have past job assignments in austere and remote project sites.

Selected candidate must be able to:

• Read and interpret building plans and drawing details, take measurements and implement the required welding and fabrication works.

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on the requirements.

• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)

• Operate angle grinders and general power tools to prepare the parts that must be assembled and welded as required for the project.

• Align steel components using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers etc.

• Weld steel/metals using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).

• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

• Lead and carry out welding works in a healthy and safe manner.

• Perform all related welding jobs as required by the company in compliance to the quality standards.
