| South Kordofan and Blue Niles States of Sudan are one of the conflicted affected states in Sudan. As a result of the persistent conflict and chronic underdevelopment, humanitarian agencies are often takes a lead on filling the gaps and support delivery of basic services. International Medical Corps is providing lifesaving humanitarian assistance in the two states. The assistance is mainly focused on health and nutrition interventions covering more than 25 health facilities dispersed in 11 localities. International Medical Corps supports the health facilities and nutrition centers through training of health workers; drug supply provision; responding and preventing disease outbreaks; clinical and health system support; prevention and management of malnutrition and others.
