JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a proposal located in Juba, South Sudan.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for all procurement, customs and shipping, storing and controlling of property and supplies
• Provides clerical, administrative and logistical support for contract operations
• Maintains and updates manual and computerized inventory records
• Procures supplies and materials from local vendors
• Monitors control of equipment and administrative supplies
• Receives and stores supplies and equipment in designated warehouse
• Issues and delivers supplies and equipment to maintain established inventory levels

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Associate-level degree or diploma in a logistics related field
• Minimum of three (3) years logistics experience including international procurement and shipping
• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
• One (1) year of relevant experience in warehousing, administrative and procurement activities is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of local vendors
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Valid driver’s license
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Living and working conditions are in established facilities in an urban environment
• May include long hours, exposure to weather and potentially hazardous conditions
• Personnel should be aware of potential requirement to move on short notice and under adverse conditions
