Our Client is a group of companies based in South Sudan looking to hire for positions in their subsidiary companies. The role will be based in South Sudan

JOB PURPOSE:

The incumbent is responsible for managing the company’s Printing Press to ensure the goals and objectives of the Branch are achieved within the broader context of RAK Media Group. The branch Manager will provide leadership in the planning, execution and controlling of the branch’s strategic and annual plans. The incumbent will develop a high caliber and high performing team to deliver consistent excellent service to customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Leadership for the Printing Press Branch and clearly articulate the vision and goals of the business
  • Lead the process of strategic planning for the expansion and growth of business
  • Lead the process of annual planning and budgeting for the business
  • Ensure that the company goals and branch goals cascaded to all staff
  • Lead the process of culture change and actively promote unity and high performing culture as well as continuously develop the capacity of the branch team
  • Implement and sustain performance management system in the branch
  • Carry out trade area analysis and propose new investments for growth of the branch
  • Achieve growth and profitability of the printing press business through realization of the branch sales budget and optimization of the operating expenses budget
  • Provide prompt and accurate reporting of periodic activities at the branch business ,follow up competitor activities that pose a threat to RAK Media ( Business Intelligence)
  • Carry out Financial controls in the branch – Cash Control, financial position, stock movement checks, and cumulative sales vs. purchases
  • Perform stewardship role of managing equipment and installations in the branch office to ensure they are in working order
  • Any other responsibility given by the GM RAK Media

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of first degree in Business Administration, Strategic management or Marketing or any related degree from a reputable University. A post graduate degree is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in business management, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) or in an environment that requires innovative thinking
  • Experience in the Printing Press Industry is an added advantage
  • Be an excellent communicator at all business levels
  • Thorough understanding of the printing business
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Be interested in what motivates people and coordinate a team of professionals
  • Be able to respond well to pressure
  • Excellent business negotiation skills
