Description

Mission Essential is seeking a Communications Engineer III(Communications Engineering
Support Specialist) who shall provide engineering and
technical services to USAFE- AFAFRICA/A2 C4ISR activities supporting U.S.
intelligence operations and coalition partner combined operations. Support
shall also extend to USAFE Directorate of Intelligence Divisions, Intelligence
Systems Division (USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2Y), the 1st Air and Space Communications
Operations Squadron (1 ACOS) and other USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2 supported

Must have at least a TS/SCI Clearance

Must have a current Information Assurance Certification
to perform information assurance functions in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M,
Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.

Must possess Information Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

Work Hours:

Standard work hours are 0730 – 1630, Monday through
Friday

Job Description:

The Contractor shall provide diversified systems
engineering support for U.S., coalition, and military C4ISR activities
associated with fixed and deployed LAN and WAN transport and equipment. The Contractor shall provide technical
inputs/recommendations to meet near and mid-term project requirements. The
Contractor shall develop and implement migration/deployment plans and
procedures management teams through design, development and implementation. The
Contractor shall provide systems engineering support including engineering new
and optimized interoperable solutions. Expected workload includes:

Manage system and network operations for approximately 2,300 users
operating approximately 2,400 devices across multiple networks.

·

Design multi-layer, robust and secure LAN/WAN environments for
unclassified and classified ISR systems.

·

Provide on-site systems architecture, analysis, design, and
engineering support services for classified, coalition, and unclassified ISR
systems and network requirements.

·

Conduct and document requirements analysis, develop engineering
technical solution and costing, system availability through the planning and
integration of a wide variety of communication technologies.

·

Provide technical inputs/recommendations to meet near and mid-term
project requirements.

·

Provide technical support in the areas of LAN and WAN management
and analysis and problem analysis to include:
satellite communications, commercial leased circuits, distributed
processing, encryption, communication protocols, fiber optics, video
teleconferencing, and voice services.

·

Develop and implement migration/deployment plans and procedures
through design, development, and implementation.

·

Implement and integrate technical requirements and design goals
into the system design.

·

Prepare project implementation documentation to include
requirements documents, technical solutions, project plans, project support
agreements, and change requests.

·

The Contractor shall complete reviews, recommend and implement
changes after final approval by the COR, to Communications-Computer Systems
Installation Records (CSIR), technical data, engineering drawings, and
equipment wiring diagrams.

·

The Contractor shall support testing and integration efforts with
specific emphasis on integration of U.S. and coalition C4ISR into war
simulation environment.

·

Assist in exercise communication and network planning.

·

Provide technical briefings and leads others in engineering
working groups and requirements meetings
