Description

Support 693 ISRG in a variety of engineering, project
coordination, and configuration management tasks. 693 ISRG sustains an
infrastructure of computers, communications systems, Local Area Networks, and
Wide Area Networks to support the exercise mission and garrison operations.
Engineering tasks involve performing analysis in the fields of civil,
industrial, mechanical, safety, and electrical engineering related to the DCGS
relocation and renovation of facilities/infrastructure; expert-level knowledge
in these areas is not required. Some of the systems/industrial engineering
tasks within this functional area may relate to definition/selection and
documentation of processes, procedures, and standards related to infrastructure

Requirements:

Required Experience

·

Must have experience using AutoCAD and MS-Office
Suite (to include Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel)

Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance

·

Level I : Must have at least 10 years’
experience w/ a HS diploma OR
6 years with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years with a Master’s Degree

Level II: Must have at least 13 years’
experience w/ a HS diploma OR
9 years with a Bachelor’s degree OR
6 years with a Master’s Degree

Level III: Level II: Must have at least 15
years’ experience w/ a HS diploma OR
11 years with a Bachelor’s degree OR
8 years with a Master’s Degree

Description

·

Provide 693 ISRG with recommendations for the
development of concepts for upgrading/modifying portions of facilities and
infrastructure; normally based on a change to operational requirements,
compatibility and security requirements.

·

Keep abreast of the latest applicable
technologies and will recommend infrastructure upgrade concepts for the
Government to consider based on emerging technology.

·

Revise statements of purpose/need/mission
impact.

·

Review market research of available products and
technologies within the stated Government parameters. The results of the
research shall include adequate information for Governmental decision-making
and provide recommendations based on the Contractor’s employee’s professional
expertise.

·

Provide concept descriptions for Government
consideration that include written descriptions, drawings (as appropriate), and
are accurate and complete

·

Provide recommendation inputs of technical
requirements to the project management plan.

·

Provide hardware/software analysis to provide
comparative data, performance characteristics and suitability within existing
systems environment.

·

Participate in Feasibility Studies based on a
Government design of system requirements in terms of concepts, input,
processes, output, fields, programs, and procedures.

·

Perform lifecycle support analysis, including
operation/operational support, preventative & corrective maintenance
concepts, sparing, logistics & administrative support. Analyses shall be
completed IAW tasked suspense.

·

Recommends and implements policies, processes,
methods and standards to be used to conduct systems engineering activities.

·

Perform trade-off analysis and economic
evaluations, which shall be completed IAW tasked suspense.

·

Provide analysis and recommendations to
preliminary and final design specifications based on Government established
requirements and results of analyses & evaluations. Design recommendations
requests shall be completed IAW tasked suspense.

·

Generate lists of materials, equipment, and
services required to support Government architectures.

·

Evaluate Government plans, coordinate and
participate in the execution of construction, relocation and renovation of
DGS-4 facilities infrastructure projects.

·

Always be a project participant and provide
recommendations to the Government “project manager.

·

Prepare the proposed recommended project charter
and submit to the Government IAW tasked suspense.

·

Perform scope, activity, schedule, resource, and
risk planning, IAW relocation and renovation of facilities-specified policies,
processes, methods, and standards.

·

Provide recommendation plans required to
complete projects on schedule.

·

Coordinate project team activities to ensure
they are in accordance with Government directives and according to the project
plan and schedule.

·

Monitor project team meetings and shall provide
a summary to include meeting minutes and action items.

·

Report status of activity (and action item)
completion, schedule, cost/resource, risk, and compliance to requirements &
design specification weekly.

·

Report problems encountered and project change
requests within 48 hours of identification.

·

Develop and maintain a status report on projects
planned and those being worked.

·

Develop approximately four facility briefings a
month.

·

Develop and maintain a prioritize facility
project listing based on 693 ISRG format.

·

Attend the Civil Engineering (CE) facility
working group and CE facility update status briefing approximately two times a
month.

·

Maintain project files, using AutoCAD and
MS-Office Suite (to include Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project and Microsoft
Excel) and maintained according to a project file plan that must be created at
the beginning of the project
