Background:
Aim of the Position:
The Field Officer fulfils the operational implementation of the project activities related WASH.
The position requires a close cooperation and networking with the project target groups. Therefore, the Field Officer will spend a substantial time in the project locations.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, implement and follow up all project activities WASH and ES/NFI humanitarian response Project in the project locations.
- Facilitate identification of training on sanitation and hygiene facilities for refugees, migrants and host communities
- Facilitate formation and representation of community-based organizations
- Keep Project management team members updated on changes, events or shocks relevant for the project implementation.
- Take a leading role in arranging regular meetings with community representatives at locality and village level.
- Conduct community mobilization facilitate coordination and dialogue with communities and other relevant stakeholders.
- Keep close contact and good working relationships with the target groups and communities.
- Keep close contact and good working relationships with partners.
- Keep close contact and good working relationships with local authorities and line ministries.
- Ensure a complaints and feedback mechanism is in place and accessible for all relevant stakeholders.
- In close cooperation with Kassala office, organize capacity building activities for communities and exchange visits for partners.
- Conduct monitoring, data collection for the analysis and evaluation of the project activities.
- Collect necessary project data for reporting and monitoring purposes.
- Keep records (both hard and soft copies) of project activity documents and project plans.
- Assist and support internal or external consultants for assessments and evaluations.
- Assist in design, planning and implementation of new project components and project plans.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree in social science, water engineering or any relevant)
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position with local or International NGO.
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access) is mandatory.
- Excellent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory!
- Arab language skills (reading, writing, speaking).
