Description
Our Client is a group of companies based in South Sudan looking to hire for positions in their subsidiary companies. The role will be based in South Sudan
JOB PURPOSE:
The key responsibility of the graphic designers will be to create visual concepts that communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers according to the clients draft or proposal. The graphic designer will develop the overall concept layout and design for production of various communication materials including brochures, magazines, company profiles, corporate reports, books, calendars, diaries etc. The position reports to HOD Pre-Press Department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with clients, project officer and HOD Pre-Press to determine the scope of the client’s project
- Advise clients on message and layout of the communication
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
- Present the design to clients or the project officer and the HOD Pre-Press
- Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.
- Prepare final design for printing or production
- Review and revise communication content based of client briefs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in IT with Graphic design option
- Diploma in Graphic Design
- At least three years’ experience as a graphic designer
