About International Medical Corps (IMC):-

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and reliving suffering though health care training and relief and development programs.

 

Scope of work:-

International Medical Corps (IMC) is looking for qualified Sudanese Logistic Officer to work under the supervision and guidance of the Site Manager.

 Duties and responsibilities:
  1. Procurement
  • Follow up the purchasing of Goods following IMC Procurement Procedures
  • Follow up the producing of procurement reports
  • follows up for the goods and good communication with other sites including Khartoum and update the site administration on weekly bases.
  • insure all

 

  1. Transportation :
  1. Follow up the site staff flight booking for the internal and international flights/movements.
  2. Circulating staff movement updates on daily basis.
  3. IMC vehicle management, driver supervisors, maintenance and fuel on a daily bases.
  4. Cargo transportation
  • Good arrangement with warehouse officer, to receive/transport goods from site to final/other destinations with good timely manner.
  • Should be updates with cargo status and shipments.
  • Review and check transportation reports

 

  1. Monitor and supervise the  Warehouse officer  on:                 
    1. Asset:Focal point for the site Assets communication and administration.
  1. Conducting Asset Inventory on monthly basis
  2. Asset registration for new asset purchase with close work with finance department
  3. Tracking and follow up with ICT department for the asset in repairs.

 

2)   Warehouse

  • To supervise site warehouse activity and to make sure IMC procedure is implemented.
  • Conducting Physical inventory for the site warehouse with store keeper.
  • Conducting surprised check spot for the warehouse

 

  1. Reporting – site level:
  • To make sure the site monthly reports is submitted in timely manner, reports includes but not limited to :
  • Updated Asset List.
  • Vehicle Monthly Report.
  • Updated Stock Records
  • GIK distribution records (also in the monthly scanning
  •  Procurement Tracking Sheet.

 

Implement any task and duty requested by his direct supervisor

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
  • University Degree.
  • Two years’ Experience in the field with INGO.
  • Good computer skill especially with Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong teamwork and team spirit
  • Good management capacity, training capacity, and coordination and communication skills
  •  Have Excellent leadership skills
  •  Ability to work in remote areas and travel by local transport (donkey)
  • Speaks English fluently.
