Under the supervision of the Director of Programs for the Sudan Office, he is responsible for implementing and directing the strategy of the Qatar Red Crescent - Sudan Office towards achieving the required goals and the vision of the organization, including planning, following up on project implementation, evaluating the performance and impact of the implemented projects in all its details and on an ongoing basis, and ensuring that the work is implemented in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and terms of the project contract and assets. Technical set for the implementation of these works and recognized in accordance with the time programs approved for the progress of the works.

Duties and responsibilities:
- He works in cooperation and coordination with the Director of Programs and the Head of the Qatar Red Crescent Office in Sudan in all tasks and contacts with the implementing partners to implement and coordinate projects and their work with partners, official bodies, national and international organizations and United Nations organizations.
- Conducting field studies and analyzing the needs of beneficiaries in all sectors of the projects that the Qatari Red Crescent aims to implement in Sudan, in addition to emergency interventions resulting from disasters and natural crises.
- Making project proposals that are in line with the vision of the Qatar Red Crescent Office - Sudan, and providing the proposals with sources of information and documents necessary for each project and the supporting documents it requires.
- Establishing an effective follow-up and reporting system that allows measuring progress in implementing projects at the level of results achieved from the implementation of activities.
- Manages project budgets through proper planning, follow-up and review of monthly field support requests for these projects.
- In coordination with the Programs Manager, he works to certify the disbursement of project payments in accordance with the financial policies of the Qatar Red Crescent.
- Review approved budgets for projects with actual monthly reports.
- Full coordination with the financial / administrative department, the procurement committee - the supply coordinator - and the personnel affairs department at the level of the field and at the level of the operations department to develop the program and ensure the flow of support for all project activities regularly and in conjunction with the requests submitted to implement the activities.
- Active and effective participation in the annual project planning processes in accordance with the Qatar Red Crescent work regulations.
- Ensure that the implementation of the activities of the projects is in accordance with the timetables, and clarify any reasons that may lead to a defect in the commitment to the time frame with the management / or partners, and provide solutions and proposals to address them.
- Work actively and effectively to develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual executive plans, financial budgets, and purchases that are compatible with the project management strategy.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports regarding the programs and the progress of the work in the project in accordance with the policies of the Qatar Red Crescent and the donors of the direct manager or the project manager.
- Ensures that the viewpoints, needs and priorities of the target audience and partners are included in the project plans.
- Performance and impact assessment of all programs and projects whose implementation is supervised by following project management policies in evaluation and control.
- Conducting interviews with beneficiaries and recording lessons learned from the implemented projects to benefit from them in any subsequent work.
- Determine and distribute responsibilities to the work team within the project.
- Checking charts, drawings and quantities to ensure the accuracy of the calculations.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed conform to specifications.
- Assistance in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Immediate reporting of any error that occurs on the site and any other problems that may occur.
- Attending the weekly meetings that are held at the project site, in order to coordinate between the various works and overcome any difficulties that impede implementation and to advance the work on the site.
- Ensure that safety, prevention and public health methods are followed in implementation.
- The engineer participates and verifies the inventory of the quantities and materials required for implementation, as well as the works that will be executed.
- He must practice the profession with integrity, honesty, seriousness, and responsibility, and not be silent or complacent about the quality, speed, and accuracy of the implementation of the work, or any transgressions that may occur from a side that may harm the works.
- Save project documents in files with classification and arrangement. Maintaining all holdings of the supervision office.
- Reporting to the administrative authority any violations or problems that occur during implementation.
- Receiving permission forms and examining works or results of material tests provided by the contractor and reviewing the line manager for the purpose of approving them.
- Participate in documenting the ongoing work of the project.
- Any other tasks assigned to him by his direct supervisor and the head of the Sudan office.

- Program manager.
- Head of the Qatar Red Crescent office in Sudan.
External business relationships:
In coordination with the Director of Programs and Head of Office:
- Sudan National Society (Sudanese Red Crescent).
- Partners of international NGOs and UN agencies in Sudan.
- Representatives of vulnerable communities and beneficiaries of projects implemented by the Crescent.
- Local authorities at the level of states and localities related to the project implemented by the Crescent.

At least 5 years of experience in the same field is preferred for those with previous experience in humanitarian and charitable organizations. |

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- He should have at least 5 years of experience in the engineering field.
- To have experience working in humanitarian organizations for at least two years.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Accuracy in work and the ability to observe.
- The age should not exceed 35 years.
- To be highly experienced and competent in using ERP and Quick book systems
