Duties and responsibilities:

Research of potential vendors;
Evaluation of offers from suppliers per cost and benefits analysis;
Negotiate contract terms;
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery;
Provide a review and diligence of quality of purchased products;
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into corporate databases(ERP System);
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices;
Prepare reports on purchases, conducting cost analyses, ABC analysis, etc.;
Monitor stock levels (acknowledges bull-whip effects and etc.);
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage;
Conduct field researchers in Sudan (Atbara, Wadi Ushar, Port Sudan) upon approval from the management.

Must have background and recommendations from procurement departments and personal willingness to development in procurement and create competence in supply chains.
Must be committed to steadily creating and maintaining supplier base, supplier relationships and networking with key suppliers to ensure merchandise of outstanding quality and delivery on time.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Should acknowledge local Sudanese market, enabled to carry out research, possesses solid analytical skills and technical education.
3-5 years of working experience in technological companies (mining preferably), understands principles of supply chains in the mining industry, procurement practices, logistics operations and warehousing.
Must have a good English command.
ERP System Knowledge.
