 Background:
 Duties and responsibilities:
  • Create, define and classify all category related items and services and then source, procure, deliver and monitor in coordination with category stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the best possible options for the Category in terms of product quality, provisioning, cost and overall standards whilst ensuring project timeline adherence and delivery.
  • Source the best in the market by identifying the right products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules and quality, providing clear comparisons and analysis for the best quality, price choice.
  • Working with key stakeholders whom could be in multi-sites to establish Category plan with specific areas to achieve wider department objectives.
  • Working with key stakeholders, establish framework agreements with key suppliers.
  • Negotiate with external providers to obtain the best commercial agreement, including preferential payment terms.
  • Working with supporting operational departments, constantly review stock and expected deliveries to ensure that optimum arrangements are in place without a negative impact on the operation.
  • Support department owners and Procurement with category and supply base knowledge.
  • Manage RFQ and bids through utilizing the Existing Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage the flow of all product and service requisitions
  • Produce periodic reporting, including supplier performance against predetermined KPI's, including weekly expected receipt reports.
  • Within the category review existing supplier base to ensure products are sourced from the right supplier in the most competitive geography at the right price and quality

 

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
  • BC. s degree in Engineering (Textile, Mechanics, Electronics, Electrics, Chemical) is preferable, Business management or related fields.
  • Accredited certification in procurement or Supply chain from a reputable institution is prefarable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the field.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Excellent computer skills & a good knowledge of using ERP system
