Description
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field from an accredited academic institution with
two years of relevant professional experience; or
- University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience;
- University degree in Medicine would be considered as an added advantage.
Experience
- Two to four years of professional experience in the domain of global public health and
migration health related issues, including in the context of humanitarian situations;
- Experience in the implementation and management of a large and complex health programme;
- Proven skills in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and establishing and maintaining working
relations with senior government officials, UN agencies, Non-Governmental Organisations(NGOs) and Donors, including familiarity with the humanitarian cluster system;
- Demonstrated ability to identify, approach, and coordinate with stakeholders of diverse
backgrounds and levels of expertise;
- Previous work experience with communicable and noncommunicable disease control is a
strong advantage.LanguagesIOM's official languages are English, French, and Spanish.For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
